Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 2nd, 2026
Welcome to Follovery (follovery.com). We operate a SaaS platform that helps creators and businesses grow their Instagram presence through organic-style engagement services. Your privacy matters to us — this policy is written to be clear, not just compliant.
This Privacy Policy describes how Follovery LLC ("Follovery", "we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores, and shares your Personal Data when you visit our website, create an account, or subscribe to any of our services. By using Follovery, you agree to the practices described below.
DEFINITIONS
Personal Data means any information that identifies or could reasonably identify you — such as your name, email address, IP address, or account details.
Processing means any operation performed on Personal Data, including collection, storage, use, disclosure, and deletion.
WHO WE ARE
Follovery LLC, 1603 Capitol Avenue, Suite 413A, Cheyenne, WY 82001, USA is the data controller for all Personal Data collected through our website and platform. For any privacy-related questions, reach us at dataprotection@follovery.com.
LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING
We only process your Personal Data when we have a valid legal basis:
- Contract: Processing is necessary to provide and manage our services.
- Legitimate Interests: Processing supports our business operations where your interests do not override ours.
- Consent: You have explicitly opted in to a specific use, such as marketing emails or non-essential cookies.
- Legal Obligation: We are required by law to retain or process certain data.
We comply with Wyoming law, the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), and applicable U.S. state privacy laws.
DATA WE COLLECT AND HOW WE USE IT
a) Account & Service Data
When you register for Follovery, we collect your name, email address, and password. If you provide a social profile handle or URL to receive our services, that is stored as part of your account. This data is retained for the life of your account and for a reasonable period after closure for accounting and legal purposes. All data is transmitted over TLS encryption; passwords are hashed and never readable in plain text.
b) Payment Data
Payments are handled by Stripe and Cryptomus, our PCI-compliant payment processors. Follovery never stores or has access to your full card number or banking details. We only receive transaction metadata — plan, amount, billing date — necessary for account management and invoicing.
c) Usage & Diagnostic Data
We automatically collect technical data when you use our platform: IP address, browser type, device info, pages visited, and in-dashboard actions. This helps us monitor platform health and improve the user experience. Our infrastructure runs on Amazon Web Services (AWS). We use Google Analytics for anonymized traffic analysis, Google Tag Manager to manage tracking scripts, and Google reCAPTCHA to protect our forms from automated abuse.
d) Cookies
We use cookies to maintain sessions, remember preferences, and understand site usage. Essential cookies are necessary for the platform to function. Non-essential cookies (analytics, advertising) are only placed after you give consent via our cookie banner. You can withdraw consent at any time. See our Cookie Policy for full details.
e) Support Communications
When you contact support, we store that conversation to resolve your issue and improve service quality. Support records are kept for up to 2 years after resolution.
f) Testimonials
If you submit a testimonial for publication on our website, we publish it only with your explicit consent. You may request removal at any time by emailing us.
HOW WE USE YOUR DATA
We use the data we collect to:
- Create and manage your account and deliver our platform services;
- Process payments and issue invoices;
- Provide customer support and respond to your inquiries;
- Send transactional emails — receipts, order updates, and service alerts;
- Send marketing communications where you have opted in or we have a legitimate interest;
- Monitor, analyze, and improve our platform and website;
- Detect and prevent fraud, abuse, and security incidents;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Service.
We will never use your data for a materially different purpose without notifying you first and, where required, obtaining your consent.
DATA SHARING
We do not sell your Personal Data. We share it only in these limited circumstances:
a) Within Follovery
Only authorized team members who need access to deliver or support our services can view your data. Access is role-based and limited to what the job requires.
b) Third-Party Service Providers
We work with trusted vendors who process data on our behalf under data processing agreements:
- Stripe — payment processing;
- Cryptomus — cryptocurrency payment processing;
- Amazon Web Services (AWS) — cloud infrastructure and hosting;
- Google — analytics, tag management, and reCAPTCHA;
- Email delivery providers for transactional and marketing communications.
c) Legal Requirements
We may disclose data to law enforcement or regulatory bodies where required by law, court order, or to protect the safety and rights of Follovery, our users, or others.
d) International Transfers
Some providers operate internationally. Where Personal Data is transferred across borders, we ensure adequate safeguards are in place — including Standard Contractual Clauses for EU/EEA transfers — to maintain equivalent protection.
MARKETING
We may send you marketing emails about Follovery features, new services, and relevant offers if you have opted in or are an existing customer with a legitimate interest. Every marketing email includes a one-click unsubscribe link, honored promptly. We never share your contact details with third parties for their own marketing.
SOCIAL MEDIA & ADVERTISING
We maintain profiles on social media to engage with our community. When you interact with us there, those platforms process data under their own privacy policies. We may use retargeting tools (Meta, Google Ads) to show relevant ads to site visitors — these activate only where you have consented to marketing cookies. You can opt out through your browser settings or via the ad platform's opt-out tools.
THIRD-PARTY LINKS
Our website may link to third-party sites or tools we do not control. This Privacy Policy does not apply to those destinations. We recommend reviewing the privacy policy of any external service before sharing your data with it.
DATA RETENTION
We keep your Personal Data only as long as necessary:
- Account data: For the life of your account and up to 3 years after closure for tax and accounting purposes.
- Transaction records: Up to 7 years to satisfy financial regulations.
- Support communications: Up to 2 years after an issue is resolved.
- Marketing consent records: For as long as we have grounds to contact you, or until consent is withdrawn.
If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your Personal Data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law or to resolve an ongoing dispute.
DATA SECURITY
Our security measures include:
- TLS encryption for all data in transit;
- Encryption of sensitive data at rest;
- Role-based access controls;
- Regular security reviews and infrastructure monitoring;
- Industry-standard one-way hashing for passwords.
No system is entirely immune to breach. In the event a breach affects your Personal Data, we will notify you and any applicable authorities as required by law, as quickly as possible after discovery.
YOUR RIGHTS
Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:
- Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
- Rectification: Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erasure: Request deletion, subject to legal retention requirements.
- Restriction: Ask us to limit processing in certain circumstances.
- Portability: Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
- Objection: Object to processing based on legitimate interests or for direct marketing.
- Withdraw Consent: Revoke consent at any time without affecting prior lawful processing.
To exercise any right, email dataprotection@follovery.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may also lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority — we'd simply ask for the chance to resolve it directly first.
Our commitments:
- We never sell your Personal Data;
- We do not collect data from children under 13 without verified parental consent;
- We do not use fully automated decision-making that produces legal or similarly significant effects.
